Along with winning their second game of the season after dropping the last four, Nick Young returned to the floor after recovering from surgery on his right thumb. Young missed the first 10 games of the season, but didn’t miss a beat in his first game.

Young was back to form when talking to Mike Trudell on TWCSportsNet after the game saying the following about finally getting back on Tuesday, via Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

Young provided the offensive spark off the bench that had been missing over the past few weeks. The sixth man finished with 17 points against the Hawks on 6-of-10 shooting along with five rebounds in 28 minutes on the floor.

On Wednesday, the Lakers will have get right back to work with the team traveling to Houston to take on Dwight Howard and the Rockets. It’ll be the second matchup against the Rockets this season. Kobe Bryant and company fell to the Rockets in the season opener, 108-90.
