Time Warner Cable Sportsnet and Time Warner Cable Deportes will be embarking on their inaugural season covering the Los Angeles Lakers very shortly, and the sports network is doing a great job preparing fans for the upcoming season. Not only are they giving Lakers fans previews of the upcoming coverage, but they are also getting involved with the local Los Angeles community.

Time Warner Cable is hosting basketball clinics in the Southern California area called “Los Lakercitos Basketball Clinics,” which feature basketball lessons, prizes and promotions. A recent basketball clinic was held at Lafayette Park in Downtown Los Angeles and the pictures show a very exciting time for all the people involved.

At the Saturday, Sept. 22 session, 75 children from Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) had the pleasure to play alongside Time Warner Cable Deportes announcers Adrián García Márquez and Francisco Pinto, Time Warner Cable SportsNet analyst James Worthy and the Lakers’ Darius Morris.
