Nike unveils the Nike Kobe 9 Elite ‘BHM,’ part of the Nike 2015 Black History Month Collection.
The Kobe 9 Elite BHM was officially unveiled as a part of a collection of products across sports in order to honor athletes and six coaches who have made a difference in the world of sports, including: Theotis Beasley, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Jerry Rice, Brianna Rollins, C. Vivian Stringer and John Thompson.
The limited edition 2015 BHM Collection includes 28 items from different Nike athletes, all with a black and white palette print. The collection representing six includes the Kobe 9 BHM and a Kobe BHM t-shirt.
A portion of proceeds from the Nike 2015 BHM Collection will go to the Ever Higher Fund, which supports initiatives to maximize the potential of underserved youth.
The 2015 BHM Collection will be available beginning January 17, the Kobe 9 BHM will launch for $250 on January 19 at Nike.com.
