On New Years Eve, Kobe Bryant was on the Lakers’ bench as he watched his team lose 94-79 to the lowly Milwaukee Bucks. While everyone clearly saw his frustrations as he recovers from a fractured tibia in his left knee, Bryant wished all his followers health and happiness following the game via Twitter:

Happy New Year. Health and Happiness to you all #14>13

— Kobe Bryant (@kobebryant) January 1, 2014

While everyone wants to know what the five-time champion did after the game, his wife Vanessa Bryant shared photos of them celebrating the New Year via Instagram:

On Friday, Bryant was seen getting some shots up at the Lakers practice facility. Currently, Bryant is expected to return after the upcoming road trip on Jan. 28 against the Indiana Pacers. There’s been no indication Bryant has made enough progress at this point in time to make his return at the end of the month, but that’s the goal moving forward for the five-time NBA champion.
