POLL: Should Lakers Trade 2nd, 27th Picks For Timberwolves’ 1st Pick?

2015 NBA draft

The NBA Draft is exactly three weeks away and the Los Angeles Lakers will be armed with the 2nd, 27th and 34th picks. With the team currently working out potential prospects, there will be constant reports from now until June 25.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have the first overall pick, but there are conflicting reports about what they will do. While Kentucky’s Karl-Anthony Towns is considered the top prospect this year, head coach Flip Saunders reportedly ranks Duke’s Jahlil Okafor higher on his draft board.

In his chat on Wednesday, ESPN’s Chad Ford brought up a scenario that involves the Timberwolves swapping picks with the Lakers for an additional asset. For the Lakers, it has been reported that they favor Towns and this move would guarantee selecting him. For the Timberwolves, they could select Okafor and receive an additional asset.

With this being said, here is the scenario: If you are the GM of the Los Angeles Lakers, would you trade two 2015 first round picks (2nd/27th) in exchange for the first pick? Vote below and subscribe to our newsletter!
