Post-Game Chat: Spurs Embarrass Lakers at Home

After the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the San Antonio Spurs 98-84 on the road less than a week ago, the Western-Conference leaders got their revenge tonight dominating the Lakers 112-91 at the STAPLES Center. In a game where the Lakers’ missed Kobe Bryant in almost every aspect of the game, the Spurs got a tremendous effort from Tony Parker, who posted 25 points and 13 assists. The Lakers started the game strongly, leading 28-27 after the first quarter, before allowing the Spurs to score 18 points unanswered in the second quarter of play, needless to say the Spurs never squandered the early lead they built. Andrew Bynum led all Lakers with 21 points.
