Lamar Odom

As reported just prior to preseason matchup with the Sacramento Kings, former Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom is currently fighting for his life in a Las Vegas area hospital after being found “unresponsive” earlier. Addiction and substance abuse continue to be serious issues throughout society, so our thoughts and prayers remain with Odom and his family at this time.

The two-time champion isn’t just one of the more popular players amongst the ‘Purple and Gold’ fan base, but remains extremely well-liked by former opponents, media members and people from all forms of entertainment. Here are some of the instant reactions to the news on Odom:
