After news surfaced late last week that former Laker Javaris Crittenton was wanted for questioning in a murder case in Atlanta there was plenty of speculation as to whether or not the NBA star committed the crime.

Earlier today Atlanta police released a wanted poster featuring Crittenton where they labeled him as ‘armed and dangerous.’

Now, according to Crittenton’s attorney, the ex-Wizard and former first round draft pick will turn himself into the authorities on Tuesday.

Crittenton, who is known mainly for bringing guns into the team’s locker room while playing for the Washington Wizards, is reportedly in Los Angeles currently but will fly back to Atlanta to surrender to police.

“He offered to turn himself in,” Brian Steel, Crittenton’s attorney, told The Associated Press. “He’s not guilty. We look forward to getting it to the courts.”

Police obtained an arrest warrant for Crittenton after an Aug. 19 shooting that left 22-year-old Julian Jones dead. The police stated that they will be pleased when Crittenton turns himself in peacefully.
