Although he is still widely known as one of, if not the most dominant NBA center of all-time, there isn’t a lot about former Laker Shaquille O’Neal that he hasn’t succeeded at or at least tried to accomplish off the court.

Since his playing days, the four-time champion has done it all: from obtaining a Doctorate degree, appearing in the big screen in numerous films, becoming a reserve police officer, joining TNT’s Emmy-nominated show ‘Inside The NBA’ as an NBA analyst to even recently DJ-ing as ‘DJ Diesel’ overseas.

But although he’s tackled on so many obstacles throughout his legendary career, will the 7’1,” 340-pound Hall of Famer be able to survive the Adirondacks mountains?

On Aug. 29, O’Neal will guest star on NBC’s ‘Running Wild with Bear Grylls,’ where Superman and Grylls will be dropped into the Adirondack Mountains to see if he can survive the wild, via Shaq’s Instagram account:

Over the seasons, Grylls has taken several entertainment and sports stars into the most remote and pristine locations in the U.S. and around the world for the 48-hour journey of a lifetime, where they have been faced with some of their deepest fears and have tackled everything from wild animals to rock rappelling.

Some of those special guests have been Zac Efron, Ben Stiller, Channing Tatum, NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, to even the President of the United States, Barack Obama himself.

Shaq believes the wild is no match for him, captioning ‘The Wild can’t tame a SHAQ’ on his Instagram post, but we’ll be the judges of that when the episodes airs this Monday, Aug. 29 at 10PM.
