Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal has taken yet another shot at Dwight Howard. O’Neal has never been fond of Howard’s usage of the “Superman” nickname and still feels the need to let the current Houston Rockets center know there’s only one NBA player that’s ever been deserving of that title.
Shaq took to his Facebook account on Monday to blast the 30-year-old with a photoshopped picture of him dunking on Howard while they’re both sporting Orlando Magic jerseys:
There can only be 1 Superman !!! #ME

During his time with the Magic, Dwight was widely regarded as one of the best players in the league. The sky was the limit for the up-and-coming center until it all came crashing down a few years after his first NBA Finals appearance in 2010.
Ever since Howard left the Orlando Magic in a four-team trade back in 2012, nothing has gone right for the three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year nor any team he’s played for since. Dwight had an ugly divorce in Orlando, Los Angeles, and now it seems it’ll go the same way in Houston.
Howard spent one forgettable injury-plagued season with the Los Angeles Lakers and then left the team high and dry in free agency for the Houston Rockets. Dwight’s stint with the Rockets also appears to be coming to an end. Howard was nearly traded before the NBA trade deadline last month and will more than likely opt out of his deal to become a free agent once again.
As for O’Neal, the former Lakers star has an NBA MVP award, four NBA titles to his credit and the distinction as one of the greatest players of all time. Howard’s list of accomplishments and dominance on the basketball floor pales in comparison to the legacy O’Neal has left behind.
