With the win against the Orlando Magic on Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers ended their four-game losing streak. Tonight, the Lakers are set to take on the New York Knicks. Winning eight of their last 10 games, the Knicks are now only three games back of the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Over the past week, the news surrounding the Knicks has all been about Phil Jackson, the new President of the New York Knicks. Although Jackson won’t be in attendance for the game at the Staples Center, the Lakers are focused on concluding their four game home stand with a win.

Unfortunately, they will likely be without Pau Gasol, who is recovering from vertigo. However, despite a torn ligament in his wrist, Xavier Henry will play.
