The Lakers are coming off of their worst defensive effort of the season after giving up 137 points to the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night. Things don’t get any easier for the team as they head to Dallas to begin a back-to-back in Texas.
With the recent announcement of Andrew Bynum being traded to the Chicago Bulls, Pau Gasol will be able to play, at least for the time being, knowing that he isn’t going to be moved. The Lakers were unable to get what they wanted back from the Cavs, so Gasol remains in Los Angeles. With the way he has played recently, that is a good thing.
On the injury front, the Lakers were expecting Xavier Henry to be reevaluated on Thursday, but now that has been moved back so Kendall Marshall will continue to be the lone point guard for the Lakers.
