These days, the majority of talk around the Lakers is focused on injuries. Half of the team is on the injured list, and it is anyone’s guess as to when the Lakers will field a full, healthy roster.

Tonight the Lakers are set to face the Oklahoma City Thunder, who own the best record in the Western Conference, as well as MVP front-runner, Kevin Durant.

The Thunder blasted the Lakers in their first meeting, and this time the Lakers have even less bodies available to them.

Steve Nash has continued to deal with nerve root irritation stemming from the broken leg he suffered last season. Though he won’t play tonight, he has been fighting to get back on the court, and documented his process in an excellent piece on Grantland.

This is also the time of year when rumors are flying everywhere. With the trade deadline approaching, and the Lakers in need of a change, there are sure to be a number of rumors floating around.

As usual, a number of them will focus on Pau Gasol, but despite being involved in rumors for a number of years, Gasol hopes to remain with the Lakers for the rest of the season.

Last game before the AllStar break tonight against OKC! It's hard not to be able to play but I’ll be supporting from the bench #GoLakers
