After all the hoopla and controversy surrounding the Lakers trade for Chris Paul that happened on Thursday and then was retracted by the league, it appears as if the three teams involved may have reached another agreement.
The league originally killed the deal claiming the Hornets weren’t getting enough value in return for Paul. League officials stated that if they were to approve the deal the Hornets would need younger players and more draft picks.
Now it seems as if the three sides have reached an agreement that they feel will be suitable enough to please the NBA owners.
Marc Stein of ESPN is reporting that the framework of a new trade has been agreed upon, and that it has been submitted to the league office for approval.
The details of the reconstructed trade have not yet been released.
