Last night, Kentucky beat Kansas. Pau Gasol picked Kentucky as the winner in his bracket.

After barely beating the Hornets on Saturday afternoon 88-85, Kobe exploded with 40 points, leading the Lakers to a 130-112 victory over the Golden State Warriors.

And welcome back to Deep Thoughts with Metta,
After Saturday’s game, World Peace tweeted: “How much did Kobe have today?” I was watching the game, so what was Metta doing?

Here’s what the Mamba had to say to critics after his poor shooting performance against the Hornets… “The amount of idiots that live out here, after 16 years, is baffling to me. I guess people just get dumber over the years.” “We’re all surrounded by idiots. All of us.” No Kobe, they aren’t getting dumber, just procreating new idiots.

Andrew Bynum suffered a sprained ankle against the Warriors during Sunday’s victory. And while his status for tonight is still up in the air, some critics argue that having Bynum sit out a few games could be a good thing. It’s no secret that Bynum’s attitude has been a problem for Mike Brown and teammates. Having Bynum sit out a game or two could be a great opportunity for Bynum to rest for the playoffs and for the tension between him and Mike Brown to fizzle.

If Bynum sits tonight’s game out, then veteran forward Troy Murphy will be starting as center for the Lakeshow. Even though Murphy hasn’t gotten much playing time this season, he played well in place of Bynum after he went down on Sunday with eight points and eleven rebounds.

Tonight, the Lakers battle the Nets. As always follow us on twitter and Facebook for updates.
