Before tonight’s game, Lillard answered questions from his followers on Twitter. One fan asked the two-time All-Star guard if Kobe Bryant will come back elite and here is his response:

“@Nike_Duece: @Dame_Lillard Will kobe come back elite?” We talkin bout the mamba… Real question? Lol

In 2013, Kobe and Lillard went head-to-head and fans witnessed one of the best performances of that season. The five-time champion finished with 47 points and five assists while Lillard finished with 38 points and nine assists.

Since arriving to the NBA in 2013, Kobe has praised Lillard and the Blazer All-Star guard has shown nothing but respect for the five-time champion. There is mutual respect between the two players as Lillard is set to make his second All-Star appearance in New York City this weekend.
