Video: Former Laker Darius Johnson-Odom Impresses in Raleigh Pickup Games

Darius Johnson-Odom, the 55th pick of the 2012 NBA Draft, played for the Los Angeles Lakers for just one season, and in his tenure with the team, the guard appeared in a mere four games.

Johnson-Odom was waived by the Lakers midway through the 2012-13 season, and the former Marquette star is looking for a new home. He recently played for the Boston Celtics in the Orlando Summer League and averaged an impressive 10.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.

Johnson-Odom has also been participating in pickup games in his hometown of Raleigh, N.C., and even though the competition is nothing close to NBA’s level, the video below shows some impressive footage. (h/t Dime Mag)

Do you think the Lakers made the right choice by not keeping Johnson-Odom on the roster?
