The Los Angeles Lakers unveiled their new headquarters and state of the art facility, the UCLA Health Training Center, set to open in the summer of 2017. Lakers president Jeanie Buss explains how she hopes the new facility will also allow the young core to help create their own identity, rather than live in the history books.
Buss also comments on their offseason moves and how much patience the organization will have moving forward. Buss points to the summer league squad as an indicator that this upcoming season will be an exciting one to watch, hoping to give the fans “something to be proud of.”
The Lakers co-owner also talks about her relationship with new head coach Luke Walton and how it differs to that of prior coaches. Plus, what important message did she tell Brandon Ingram? It’s all in the video above.
