After rough starts in the Los Angeles Lakers first two games of the season, point guard Jeremy Lin looked much more comfortable running the offense in Friday night’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Bryant said that after their loss to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, he talked a lot with Lin about being assertive and orchestrating the offense. Kobe told the media that he wants Lin to get to a point where he can challenge him. Byron Scott has echoed those same sentiments.

I’m like every other human. I’m going to do more when I feel empowered,” Lin said in response to a question about being given the go-ahead from Bryant.

After tonight’s game, Lin also said the team started to learn what it actually means to trust each other. It’s all in our post-game video above.
