After an embarrassing and lopsided loss to the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers came out with energy and effort in their 101-84 win over the Orlando Magic.

With Byron Scott deciding to sit Kobe Bryant to rest, Jeremy Lin was one of many Lakers who made the most of their opportunity, leading the way offensively with 18 points to go along with his six assists and four steals.

Rookie Tarik Black probably had the most heads turning with his 14 points and nine rebounds in 17 minutes of play. After the game, Lin said he hadn’t yet seen that from Black in practice, because frankly, they haven’t had that much time to practice together.

That was awesome, man. That’s all I have to say,” Lin smiled after the game.

What about another game playing without Kobe Bryant? How is that different for the team? Answers to that and more in our video above.
