The Lakers lost 105-100 to the Clippers on Tuesday, but put up a valiant effort and the rookie finished with 20 points, six assists and two turnovers. After the game, head coach Byron Scott said Clarkson did a much better job of spreading the floor and making quicker decisions, which led to wide open shots, as opposed to Sunday, when Chris Paul easily took Clarkson out of his rhythm.

In the video above, Clarkson discusses what it’s been like to go up against possibly the best point guard in the NBA on back-to-back nights. Clarkson says he specifically worked on attacking screens and calls his matchups against Paul a “good test.”
