Kobe Bryant and Floyd Mayweather Jr. are two of the greatest athletes ever in their respective sports. Even as they enter their late 30s when most athletes would begin to wear down, these two continue to defy all of the skeptics and perform at a level greater than any of their contemporaries.

Greatness recognizes greatness and Mayweather is a part of Bryant’s prestigious ‘Vino Club’ along with quarterback Peyton Manning and singer Justin Timberlake. After the Lakers preseason game last night against the Sacramento Kings, the two legends spent some time chatting in the locker room:

The game was in Las Vegas which is Mayweather’s adopted home so it makes sense that he would pop in for a visit. The two are good friends and even though both have been chided in the past for their attitudes, there is no denying the skill and heart that each possess.
