VIDEO: Lakers React To Damian Lillard’s Performance

Led by 34 points from Damian Lillard, 17 of which were in the fourth quarter, the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Los Angeles Lakers 106-94 on Sunday night. Despite a solid effort from the Lakers, who were once again without Kobe Bryant (rest), Lillard’s fourth quarter dominance was too much for the Lakers to handle.

As Byron Scott said after the game:

He’s just a hell of a player. He’s pretty damn good,” Scott smiled after the Lakers loss. “I wouldn’t say we ran out of gas, it was just too much Damian at the end.”

In addition to Lillard dropping threes on the Lakers in crunch time, the young point guard also had all of Staples Center buzzing when he got through LA’s bigs to find himself earning an and-1 after a monster dunk at the rim.

Check out all of the post-game reaction to Damian Lillard’s impressive performance in our video above.
