Injuries plagued the Lakers from the get-go: Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Xavier Henry, Wayne Ellington, Ronnie Price, Nick Young, Jeremy Lin, and even Wesley Johnson and Jordan Clarkson were ruled out for the last games of the season.

In their final game of the season (a loss to the Sacramento Kings) the Lakers had eight active players on their roster, and two call-ups from the NBA Development League were thrown into the starting rotation, Jabari Brown and Vander Blue.
