VIDEO: NBA Legends Chime In On Lakers No. 2 Draft Pick

The Los Angeles Lakers number two pick in the 2015 NBA Draft has plenty of people excited, including NBA legends, Hall Of Famers and former Lakers. With most the chatter surrounding whether the Lakers will draft Jahlil Okafor or Karl-Anthony Towns, a couple guards are also creeping into the conversation in D’Angelo Russell and Emmanuel Mudiay.

At the 30th annual Sports Spectacular gala, seven-time NBA champ, Robert Horry, chatted with Lakers Nation about who he hopes the Lakers draft at number two.

“Okafor. For me, once Okafor stepped out on the court and started doing his thing I became a huge fan of him. You’ve got to love a guy who models his game after Hakeem Olajuwon, the second best player ever to play this game behind Michael Jordan, the way he plays the game, the way he approaches the game is just fantastic. So I hope the Lakers have the opportunity to draft him.”

Also in the video above, former Laker Cedric Ceballos shares his opinion. Plus, does he have some inside information on the possibility of Marc Gasol winding up in Los Angeles?

Hall of Famer Jamaal Wilkes chimes in on his thoughts and looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel. And, Jaime Maggio, who covers the Lakers for TWC SportsNet, tells us who she hopes the Lakers draft.
