Last night, Kobe Bryant’s return to the Lakers was marred by an ugly Laker performance in a 106-94 loss to the Toronto Raptors. Kobe Bryant gave himself an ‘F’ grade for his performance and most of the Lakers, especially the starters, didn’t fare much better.

In the fourth quarter the Lakers were attempting to make a comeback and steal a victory and Nick Young was determined to make it happen. Unfortunately for Young, what happened will almost definitely land him on every blooper reel, SportsCenter ‘Not Top 10’ and ‘Shaqtin A Fool.’

After receiving a pass from Jodie Meeks on the baseline, Young drove past Terrence Ross and as Jonas Valanciunas prepared to challenge him, attempted to spin around in the air. Young kept spinning, and the layup attempt hit the top of the backboard.

Even with the Lakers losing at the time, it was impossible not to laugh at the attempt, and the audacity of Young for attempting such a shot. It truly was something only Swaggy P could try to pull off and get away with it.

If you missed it, check it out in the slideshow above (BONUS: Slideshow includes a collection of Nick Young 360 layups).
