VIDEO: Nick Young On What The Lakers Are Missing Without Him

It’s been exactly one week since Lakers guard Nick Young had surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb. Though Young was held out of practice completely for a couple days, as soon as he was cleared to be back on the court, Lakers head coach Byron Scott had him participating in plenty of conditioning drills.

After Monday’s practice and a 41-point loss to the Golden State Warriors, in which the Lakers failed to make any of their three-point attempts, Young jokes about how many more threes the Lakers would have made if he was on the court. He also says he’s considering entering another sport, involving cross-training with all the conditioning Scott’s been having him do.
