The Los Angeles Lakers lost 78-75 to the Miami Heat on Tuesday night, after giving up 58 points in the paint and shooting 29-92 (31.5 percent) from the field and 4-23 (17.4 percent) from beyond the arc. The Lakers lost to their first Eastern Conference team at home this season and their record dropped to just 12-27.
Nick Young had another off-shooting night, hitting one of his four three-point attempts and shooting just 2-11 from the field. However, Young did keep his streak alive at the charity stripe, hitting his 30th consecutive free throw, his longest streak of the year.
After the game, Young thanked Lakers fans for showing their support this season, despite the Lakers struggles.
Big ups to the fans who are coming every night still and watching us and cheering us on.
