Lakers Nation takes a look back at this legendary Laker known for his clutch shots and championship rings, Robert Horry. Known to most of the world as Big Shot Rob, Horry’s seven NBA championship rings (three with the Lakers) are more than any player to don the purple and gold.

Horry wasn’t known for being an All-Star or All-NBA team player, but he was known as one of the deadliest players to have possession of the ball with the clock winding down.

Horry’s best moments with the Lakers came in crucial situations – the 2001 NBA Finals, the 2002 Western Conference Finals and the 2002 NBA Playoffs, just to name a few. Sit back and watch how Horry got his nickname in our Lakers Nation video above!
