After the game, Johnson said he looked more to attack, focusing on not allowing the Trail Blazers to have second chance opportunities. The game was Johnson’s 11th double-figure rebounding game of his career (all since joining the Lakers) and fourth this season.
The Lakers take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night and Johnson discussed what the Lakers need to focus on.
“Transition, take away the dunks, can’t drop our heads when they get the alley-oops.”
The Lakers have lost both their match-ups with the Clippers this season. In their previous meeting, the Lakers lost 114-89.
