For the third straight game, Kobe Bryant sat out in order to rest his body. Without him in the lineup, the Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Dallas Mavericks 102-98 Friday night.

Despite not playing in the game, Bryant was with the team and sat on the bench. While Tyson Chandler was taking free throws during the game, Bryant nonchalantly counted how many NBA titles he won as a Laker:

Bryant’s five titles are tied for the most from any active player and is a testament of his storied career. He still seeks his sixth which would give him the same amount as Michael Jordan, who he recently passed on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.

Currently in his 19th NBA season, Bryant seems to be feeling the effects of playing highly competitive basketball for half his life. The Lakers currently sit at 9-21 and will likely miss the playoffs impeding Bryant’s quest for another championship.
